The impact of Load on Dynamic versus Static Situational Knowledge While Driving

by | Dec 16, 2020

The impact of an attentionally demanding load on situational knowledge while driving in a simulator was examined. Results show a selective impairment of dynamic knowledge (i.e., moving objects) under load conditions compared to static knowledge (i.e., stationary objects). Results suggest not all situational knowledge is impaired under load conditions.
